Rule 31 Family Mediator

Mediation is a process in which a neutral party facilitates negotiations between the parties in a case, and provides another opportunity to maintain some control over the outcome of a particular case. Statistics show that when parents, or a husband and wife, come to a divorce settlement or Permanent Parenting Plan through a mediator, not only do they experience more satisfaction with the result, but the rate of compliance with the resulting settlement dramatically increases.

Ms. Miller has been a Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediator since 2015, and has facilitated settlements that both parties find agreeable. Her experiences as a family law attorney and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst provide mediation participants with a great amount of detail in their resulting agreements, to minimize vagueness.

Ms. Miller provides mediation services to all Upper Cumberland counties, and is available to travel to the county of the parties’ residence. Participants and their attorneys are also welcome to come to Ms. Miller’s office, or another neutral location agreed to by the parties.
